Participants will learn more about grandparents who are the sole caregivers of their grandchildren. The profile of grandparent caregivers will be presented as well as the outcomes for the grandchildren in their care.

Esme Fuller-Thomson is a social work professor and Director of the Institute for Life Course and Aging at the University of Toronto and is an Adjunct Scientist at Baycrest’s Rotman Research Institute. Esme has been studying grandparent caregiving for more than 25 years. She has more than 180 publications in the medical and social science literature.
